Joined the newly established global Telco Business Unit with responsibility for Southern and Central European Telecom Operators. Later moved on to support the SMB Business Unit with business development responsibilities in Southern and Eastern Europe. Built sales strategy for the geography (10+ countries), opened up new sales channels, re-engaged with the existing channel partners, and executed new business development activities in various countries.

Avast is today part of GEN, together with NortonLifeLock.

Built market entry strategy and plan, and carried out its execution. Transformed F-Secure's business in Italy from remotely managed to a locally managed operation. Opened up the Italian country office and built local sales teams from scratch. In addition to rapid sales growth in all the channels, Telco business ramped up from scratch to a multi M$ level by winning direct contracts with all the six main Telcos in Italy; Telecom Italy, Vodafone, Wind, H3G, Fastweb, and Tiscali.

Several years of >1M$ year over year growth in Italy, and two years of responsibility also of Spain and Portugal with >50% growth rate.

F-Secure has since then been split into two companies, F-Secure and WithSecure.

Joined the initial Italian country team of Snow Software to speed up the ramp-up phase in Italy. Opened up new verticals, expanded the partner network, and implemented marketing and business development activities. Responsibilities expanded also to cover parts of Central-Eastern Europe region in addition to Italy. Closed the two biggest deals in Italy in 2018 and three of the top five deals in the region. Built sales strategy for the geography, re-engaged the partner network, and helped opening up local operations in Czech Republic (with 162% growth in 2018).

Snow Software has since then been acquired by Flexera.
